Through classroom activities and community based projects, participants will explore the traits of successful leaders and learn how to use those skills to help a make positive impact on our world.
Campers will be encouraged and empowered to serve and lead by setting goals, making decisions, solving problems, and working as a team. They will take what they learn and serve those in need in our community by taking at least three field trips during the week of camp. Students will also be equipped with the knowledge and tools to take what they've learned out of camp and practice serving and leading in their lives.
The Service and Leadership Camp will run July 20 through July 24, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. Kate Marino is the instructor of the camp. She is The Chapel School music teacher for pre-K through Grade 2 and youth minister of the Village Lutheran Church
