Bronxville Preschool Student Celebrates Irish Culture

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – A Bronxville preschool student celebrated his Irish heritage with a special project that was featured at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights last week.

Colm Doherty, 4, created an exhibit for his preschool graduation that was featured at the “World’s Fair” graduation event that was hosted by IBM for the preschool run by the Country Children’s Center in Katonah.

The graduation event was designed to celebrate the various heritages of the schools’ students at the childcare center.

The youngster’s exhibit featured a variety of facts, photos, diagrams and items that celebrate his family’s roots, which are based in Ireland. It included a massive model of the Titanic, which was built in Belfast.
