Tuckahoe Eateries Participate in Restaurant Week

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – It's Restaurant Week in Westchester County and you do not even have to leave the village in order to participate.

Tuckahoe has four participants in the program that will offer three-course prix-fixe dinners at $29.95, and three-course lunches at $20.95 during the event, which ends Saturday, March 31.

The Tap House, Ristorante Chiante, the Old Stone Mill and Angelina's are participating in the event that is in its sixth year.

"Hudson Valley Restaurant Week demonstrates why the Hudson Valley has become one of America's most talked about culinary destinations,” said Janet Crawshaw, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week organizer and publisher of “The Valley Table” magazine. “The Hudson Valley has long been a vibrant agricultural region.”

At Angelina's, owner Louis DiNapoli carefully selected some customer favorites from the regular menu for the special Restaurant Week menu.

"We had to put in the fiocchi alla Rosa, which is a caramelized pear inside of a pasta, like a ravioli but larger," DiNapoli said. "And everyone loves our gnocchi."

DiNapoli is also the proprietor of the Olde Stone Mill in Tuckahoe, also participating in Restaurant Week.

"I think Restaurant Week is great for our regular customers and new customers to come out and try us,"DiNapoli said.
