Saint George Bistro, 155 Southside Ave, Hastings-On-Hudson, (914) 478-1671

Why Go: A visit Saint George is almost like a mini staycation. This cozy bistro feels like a corner of Paris' 9th arrondissement. The fact that they stir up Bloody Mary's to the guest's preferences only adds to the personal service. Expect seven different ingredients including fresh grated horseradish. Bloodies are often topped with an oyster and shrimp. "We like to think we serve the best Bloody Mary around," said Owner Jason Steinberg. There is also an extensive mimosa bar.

Worth Waking Up For: The food! Indulge, dear Westchesterites, in a Maine lobster roll that is served on a warm Balthazar croissant with fresh avocado. Also popular: the Trout Hollandaise , half a Rainbow trout served over spinach with bacon lardons, poached eggs, and hollandaise. Or go for the smoked salmon served over warm pommes rosti with capers, red onion, dill creme fraiche and chives.

When: Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Prix Fixe? No. Menu items are priced individually.
