The ride, which covers more than 4,000 miles, will start on Sunday, April 29 and is being done in partnership with ipourlife, a non-profit based out of Springfield, MO.  More details about the Ride for Kore can be found by clicking online here.

The money raised will be used to help the women of Kore, an area of Ethiopia where many women are ostracized due to having serious diseases, get the training, capital and support they need to start their own businesses. ipourlife has been very successful with their ventures to date, with many of the women they sponsored going on to employ other members of the community. "Our goal would be to become so successful that there is eventually nothing left for us to do in Kore," said Jamie Rosenberg, who is a 2010 graduate of Horace Greeley High School.

"I will be doing the ride primarily by myself," Rosenberg told Daily Voice. "My father will join for a 1,000-mile stretch in the Rockies, but besides for that it will be a solo trip."
