Students from all local public schools, along with the Chapel School and St. Joseph’s School, are invited to enter. Entries will be broken into four categories: kindergarten through second grade, third through fifth grade, middle school and high school. Poems should be about a favorite hobby or pastime.

Poems can be sent to Friends of Bronxville Public Library, 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville 10708.

All entries must include a name, school, grade, a contact (your parents) email and phone number on the back.

A panel of judges from the board of the Friends of the Library will pick the winners.

The winners will be contacted on Monday, April 20, with an invite for family and friends to hear them read their work at the annual Bronxville Public Library poetry event, set for Sunday, April 26, at 4 p.m.
