The Bronxville Farmers Market, Stone Place at Paxton Avenue, Bronxville
Hours of Operation: Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Goes Until: Nov. 21 (started on May 9).
Vendors You’ll Find: A stable of nearly 40 vendors rotate at the market each week, with some travelling from as far as northern Westchester County, Connecticut and the East End of Long Island. The vendors tote everything from fresh and frozen Italian fare coming from Bayshore and coffee and teas from Mount Vernon, to pickled vegetables from New Jersey and artisan ice pops from Cold Spring.
Mainstays at the Bronxville Farmers Market include local business Personalized Soaps by Marilyn, Champagne Tea, which serves probiotic and naturally effervescent drinks and Penny Lick Ice Cream.
Of Special Note: Each week, volunteers with Green Mountain Energy, a partner of the market, along with New-York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital, has a featured booth “offering a breadth of knowledge and services for green energy.” Additionally, the Westchester branch of the Cornell Cooperative Extension’s “Ask The Master Gardeners” program is a featured vendor weekly, with officials on hand to help those looking to hone their green thumb.
