Bronxville Ranks Among Top U.S. Family Suburbs

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Niche.com released its 2015 ranking of the best suburbs to raise a family, placing Scarsdale at No. 1 in the nation.

Scarsdale led the way in Niche.com's yearly ranking of the best suburbs in America. 13 other Westchester County towns cracked the list's top 100.

Scarsdale was one of 14 sites in Westchester County that cracked the list's top 100. Bronxville and Larchmont also placed in the top 10 at fifth and ninth respectively.

Niche.com compiled their rankings by using crime rates, library access, affordable housing and other statistics.

Irvington drew the No. 21 ranking. Mamaroneck was 40th. Pleasantville was 46th and Hastings 49.
