Budget Workshop: 6 p.m.-8 p.m. The Bronxville Board of Education will hold a budget workshop in the multipurpose room of The Bronxville School.

Candle Celebration: 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Jansen Hospice & Palliative Care will sponsor Celebration of Lights — An Evening of Remembrance, a lighting of candles in memory of loved ones. Thursday, Dec. 6

Right-to-Write Reading: 6 p.m. As part of the Right-to-Write program, student volunteers read works written by inmates at the Westchester County Correctional Facility. The event is free. Sarah Lawrence College/Slonim Living Room, 1 Mead Way.
