“You Don’t Need Feet to Dance” Film Screening and Q and A With Artist Sidiki Conde and Film Director Alan Govenar: 5:30 p.m.  The extraordinary life of Sidiki Conde will be presented in a new documentary film at Sarah Lawrence College in the Donnelley Film Theatre, Heimbold Visual Arts Center. Both the star of the film and the director, Alan Govenar, will be present for a Q and A following a screening of the film. The event is free and open to the public. 1 Mead Way, Bronxville. slc.edu

Friday night coffeehouse: 8 p.m. The first Coffeehouse of the season at the Bronxville Women's Club. Performing will be Sal Casabianca and The Mathewson-Nelson-Walker-Booker Quartet. A guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, Sal will perform selections from his latest release, "The Sound and the Love." $5. 135 Midland Avenue, Bronxville. bronxvillewomensclub.org

Art Exhibit: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Bronxville Women's Club is pleased to announce the exhibit for the first artist for the year 2013-14 season is photographer Carolyn Polchinski. Garrett Park Neighborhood Association Block Party and Flea Market: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event includes flea market tables featuring a wide assortment of finds from neighbors who are clearing treasures from closets, folks who are making room for the new, some crafters, and usually a professional exhibitor or two.
