Friday, Oct. 5
Annual Bronxville Sidewalk Sale: 10 a.m. Various items will be for sale throughout the village. The sidewalk sale is also scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6. Kraft Bistro, 104 Kraft Ave, Bronxville.
Music in the Square: Noon. Yonkers Downtown BID presents live music in the center of Getty Square. The event is free and is open to the public. Getty Square, 13 S. Broadway, Yonkers.
Live Music at The Park: 9:30 p.m. R&B vocalist and guitarist Keith Robinson will perform. The event is free, and everyone in attendance will receive a free Bellini. Park 143 Bistro, 143 Parkway Road.
Saturday, Oct. 6
Tarrytown Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. Come to the farmers market to buy your meat, produce, bread and flowers, along with live music and crafts. Patriots Park, 121 N. Broadway, Tarrytown.
Poetry Reading: Noon. Womrath Bookshop will host a reading by local author Marion Brown, whose poetry chapbook, "TASTED," has just been published by Finishing Line Press. This poetry reading is free and open to the public. Womrath Bookshop, 76 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
Columbus Day Carnival & Parade: The Eastchester Columbus Day Carnival & Parade continues its weekend of festivities. The carnival will have rides, games and food. Admission to the carnival is free. The homemade meatball contest and the homemade wine contest start at 7 p.m. Lake Isle Country Club, 660 White Plains Road, Eastchester.
Sunday, Oct. 7
Breast and Ovarian Cancer Walk: 9 a.m. The 18th Annual Support-A-Walk for breast and ovarian cancer awareness, presented by Support Connection Inc. The walk is 3 miles. Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park, 2957 Crompond Road, Yorktown Heights.
Italian Music and Comedy Show: 3 p.m. The Westchester Community College Italian Club "Il Club Italiano" presents an Italian comedy show. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $10 for WCC students, and $15 for advance purchase. Westchester Community College, Davis Theatre, 75 Grasslands Road, Valhalla.
