Renard Lecture Series: 10:30 a.m. The Ruth L. & Henry H. Renard Active Retirement Lecture Series offers a variety of educational programs for adults 55 years and older. The lecture is free. JCC on the Hudson, 371 S. Broadway, Tarrytown.
Nature Class: 1:30 p.m. Children 2 to 5 years old can hear a story, do crafts and take part in a nature game. The class costs $5, but no registration is required. 99 Dromore Road, Scarsdale.
Lecture on Good Nutrition: 2 p.m. Gramatan Village presents a seminar titled "Preventing Alzheimer's Disease and Osteoporosis Through Good Nutrition," which will explain the benefits of developing good dietary habits. White Plains Farmers Market: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shop for fresh produce including meats, to produce, artisan cheeses and olive oil. Court Street and Martine Avenue, White Plains.
Single Barrel Bourbon Tasting: 6 p.m. Aries Wine & Spirits will host its first in store tasting of handcrafted single barrel bourbons. The tasting will be complimented by appetizers and gifts. The event costs $15. Aries Wine and Spirits, 128 W. Post Road, White Plains.
Anniversary Gala: 6 p.m. Join Yonkers Partners in Education for our Fifth Anniversary Gala to honor Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.
