Tricks, Treats And More As Bronxville Gets Into Halloween Spirit

BRONXVILLE, NY - There's a lot going on in Bronxville this Halloween to accommodate all age groups. Here's a sampling provided by the Bronxville Chamber of Commerce.

  • Join Park 143 Bistro on Thursday, Oct. 30, for a Halloween Costume Party. Ghoulish specialty cocktails will be served, a freaky fun disc jockey will entertain, and prizes will be awarded to the most original costumes. The fun begins at 9 p.m. More details available by calling 914-337-5100.
  • Fabio’s Hair Studio’s 13th annual Halloween party will take place on Friday, Oct. 31 from 2 to 6 pm. There will be face painting, hair styling, and more. For more specifics, call 914-337-1482.
  • The Annual Children’s Costume Contest at Blue Moon takes place on Oct. 31. All children who dine in costume will be entered to win a host of prizes. Call 914-337-4000 for details.
  • Also on the Oct. 31: J. C. Fogarty’s will host its Annual Halloween Party with cash prizes for best costumes. More information at 914-337-1122.
  • And last but not least, at 5 p.m. Halloween night Sándor Szabó, minister of music and organist at The Reformed Church, will perform a short concert featuring a spooky selection of well-known organ music. This event is free and open to all ages. Come in costume before or after trick-or-treating and enjoy the reception that follows the performance.
