Tickets are $75 per person in advance and $100 per person at the door. The event will include a celebrity guest and a silent auction. Hors d’oeuvres and either a glass of wine or beer are included.

“We are excited to be partnering with Barnes & Noble of Eastchester for the Superintendent’s Reading Challenge Fundraiser,” Board of Education Trustee Darcy Miller said. “We are hopeful this is just the beginning of a long relationship, which will continue to create many wonderful opportunities for Mount Vernon students to become better readers.
