Session one, River Adventures, begins Monday, July 7, and runs through Friday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for children ages 10-13. During this session, children will explore the Hudson River by boat and land. Camp participants will visit the Piermont Marsh to study marine life, fish off the Island Current fishing boat and kayak along Yonkers’ shoreline.

“Nature Adventures” will be held Monday, July 14, through Friday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for children ages 6-9. This session encourages children to learn naturally by using observation and investigation skills to explore plants and animals in their environment. Children will investigate insects, birds, reptiles and fish from CURB’s beach, garden and local community. This session also includes a visit to the Piermont Marsh, The Science Barge and the Greenburgh Nature Center.

Registration is still available for $350 per week. All campers and their families will have the opportunity to participate in a complimentary family camping event on Friday, July 18.

CURB is a spacious center that features a riverfront park, a tidal marsh and a beach for river exploration.
