The program will feature an opportunity for children attending the open house to express their reflections on the Jewish holiday calendar, as well as participate in a “sing-down,” in which various well-known songs and prayers will be entertainingly strung continuously together by Cantor Chanin Becker and the school’s music teacher Jennie Berkson.

The morning’s events will begin with a brief Tefilah/worship service, followed by a discussion with parents about the synagogue’s vision for the future of its religious school.

During the open house, visitors will also be able to meet and get to know Senior Rabbi Jeffrey C. Brown,  Becker, Rabbi Wendy Pein, Scarsdale Synagogue’s director of lifelong learning, as well as other members of the school’s faculty.
