Santa, Tree Lighting Among Bronxville's 'Hometown Holiday' Events

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – “Hometown Holiday” happenings will light up downtown Bronxville from Friday, Dec. 4 through Sunday, Dec. 6, according to the local PTA and Chamber of Commerce.

Bronxville will open the holiday season Friday, Dec. 4, with its annual tree-lighting ceremony at Leonard Morange Park.

These are among the events scheduled:

  • A store-window decorating contest for Bronxville High School students.
  • Discounts for PTA members at village stores and restaurants.
  • Holiday happy hours at select locations.
  • Santa’s workshop.

The lighting of the village’s Christmas tree is set for 5 p.m., Dec. 4, at Leonard Morange Park, which is near Paxton and Palmer avenues.

The winners of the store-window painting contest will also be announced.

A procession will be led through the village’s downtown by “Frosty the Snowman.” The grand opening of Santa’s Workshop will take place at 60 Pondfield Road.

The Dec. 4 event runs until 7 p.m.
