Reformed Church of Bronxville Presents Afternoon Of Chamber Music

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- Celebrate Valentine's Day with your loved one at the Reformed Church of Bronxville when it holds an afternoon of chamber music on Sunday, Feb.14, at the church.

Beginning at 3 p.m., the concert will include the "D Minor Piano Trio" by Mendelssohn, one of his most popular works, and Schumann’s exuberant "Piano Quintet," a work that revolutionized the instrumentation and character of this form. These compositions represent both composers’ finest writing and are major works of 19th-century chamber music. 

Performing will be internationally acclaimed musicians Susan Heerema, violin; Adda Kridler, violin; Daniel Panner, viola; Andrew Kim, cello, and Sandor Szabo, piano.
