Poems Wanted For Tuckahoe Library Poetry Contest

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. — A poetry contest for Tuckahoe students is being sponsored by the Friends of the Tuckahoe Public Library April 1.

The 39th Annual Tuckahoe Library Poetry Contest is open to children in grades 4-8.

The 39th Annual Tuckahoe Library Poetry Contest is open to children in grades 4-8 at the Tuckahoe Middle School, the William E. Cottle School, Immaculate Conception School, Greenvale School, Eastchester Middle School, and Anne Hutchinson School.

One entry is permitted per student. All entries must be at the library by Friday, April 1.

Students should include their name, address, phone number, school name and grade on their entry and give it to their English teacher.

An awards ceremony will be held for poets who win first, second and third prize for each grade.
