Attendees are asked to wear their favorite little black dresses or other dress attire because just like an “LBD,” good health is always in style. Men are also welcome and encouraged to attend the brunch, which begins at noon.

NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence’s oncologists and specialists will speak about breast health and women’s health and wellness. The brunch will also feature a disc jockey, dancing and a fashion show when participants will be able to show off their outfits and win prizes.

The event is being hosted by NYP/Lawrence’s Spirit of Women Network, which encourages women to make positive changes in their lives by focusing on their total well-being, mind, body and spirit.

The speakers and other members of NYP/Lawrence’s Cancer Care Team will also be there to meet guests and talk about the hospital’s multidisciplinary approach to cancer services and the brand new Carol H. Taylor Breast Health Center, which will be officially unveiled on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The event is open to the public, and will be held at Westchester Manor at 140 Saw Mill River Road in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. Preregistration is requested and tickets are available for a suggested donation of $25 for the general public and $15 for Spirit of Women members.

Partial proceeds from the brunch will benefit NYP/Lawrence’s Cancer Survivorship Program. Doors open at 11 am, the physician discussion will begin at noon and the fashion show will start at 1:30 pm.
