JCC Of Mid-Westchester Hosts Three-Part Speaker Series

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The JCC of Mid-Westchester in Scarsdale is hosting a three-part speaker series starting on Thursday.

Part one of the Creative Conversation series, "Driving America: Cars, Banks and Technology" opens at 7:30 p.m. at the JCC of Mid-Westchester at 999 Wilmot Road in Scarsdale. The event includes three speakers from the automotive, banking and technology industries.

The session will examine questions such as: Where is the automotive industry heading? What are the newest trends in technology? How is the banking industry fairing? 

Cheryl Strauss Einhorn, media consultant/award-winning journalist and adjunct faculty member of Columbia Business School, will lead the panel.

Steve Girsky, senior advisor and ,ember of the board of directors for General Motors, will share his analytical perspective on American automotive trends. Wayne Goldstein, co-founder and principal of The Endicott Group, will focus on trends in investment banking and the financial industry. Bob Goodman, founding partner of Bessemer New York, will focus on software, mobile, digital media and health-care IT.

“These series of conversations attempt to shed light on what is Driving America today with a focus on industry, business, finance, and intellectual trends," said Karen Kolodny, executive director at the JCC Mid-Westchester. "We feel privileged to have three top-notch industry leaders coming to our JCC to open up a public conversation on whether the American ‘engine’ is on the move again.”

Parts two and three of the series will focus on entrepreneurial and thought leaders who are “Driving America.”
