SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The annual Westchester Theatre of Dance concert will feature Can-can dancers as part of the "Gaite Parisienne" on Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30.
“Gaite Parisienne,” with music by Jacques Offenbach, choreography by Jayne Santoro, and New York City guest artist Joel Levy, will be at The Westchester Theatre of Dance annual concert at 8:15 p.m. March 29 and 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. March 30 at the JCC’s Bendheim Performing Arts Center at 999 Wilmot Road in Scarsdale. The Westchester Theatre of Dance is the resident company of the JCC of Mid-Westchester Dance School.
The concert promises to feature dance selections in hip-hop, tap and classical ballet as part of the showcase of JCC Dance School students and faculty.
"The JCC Dance School, one of Westchester’s most respected dance programs for more than 40 years, provides all levels of training for pre-school through adult dancers, taught by professional faculty," representatives said. "Classes include ballet, pointe, hip-hop, tap, modern, musical theatre jazz, Zumba and Israeli folk."
Tickets are $28 for adults or $23 for students and seniors, for the Saturday night performance, which includes a dessert reception after the show.
