WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Here are five of the biggest events coming up in Westchester.

1. Westchester Comedy Festival Kick Off in Mount Vernon, Sunday, April 6, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Included will be a musical improv and comedy workshop at the Roosevelt Square Building in Mount Vernon. Learn the science behind being funny on the fly with some of the area's top comedians. $25. 11 West Prospect Avenue.

2. Rye Arts Center's "Edge Of The Seat" Opening Reception, Saturday, April 5, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Features contemporary artists who have used the chair as medium to provide, "a new look at both the chair and ourselves, in sculptural and two-dimensional works." Free and open to the public. 51 Milton Road.

3. Talbots of Chappaqua's 35 Year Anniversary Celebration, Saturday, April 5.

Raffle items worth $50, $100 and $500, which are sponsored by neighboring stores, will be available. There will also be special offers for customers. 400 King Street.

4. Hartsdale's Woodlands High Seniors, Cheerleaders Host 'Mattress Sale' Fund-raiser, Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Name-brand mattresses will be sold at deeply discounted prices with full factory warranties and available delivery. 475 W. Hartsdale Avenue.

5. Broadway Comes to Yonkers, Monday, April 7, 7 p.m.

Actors, singers, and dancers alike are coming up to Yonkers Riverfront Library to support Youth Theatre Interactions. A full cast of performers will share the stage with talented local artists and YTI alumni in a night of, "arts, excitement, and inspiration." Alex De Castro, who has performed in "The Lion King", "The Color Purple" and is a YTI alumna, will be hosting. 1 Larkin Plaza.
