Classical Musicians To Perform Sunday In Bronxville

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – A pianist and a mandolinist will be featured Sunday at Midland Music, the professional music series of the Bronxville Women's Club. The 3 p.m. concert is the second in the three-part series. 

The program will include mandolinist Joyce Balint and pianist Oxana Mikhailoff performing selections by Vivaldi , Beethoven, Ravel and Chopin.

Balint is director of the Midland Music Series and a past president of the women's club. She is the mandolin soloist with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.

Mikhailoff, a Russian-born musician who lives in Mount Vernon, has had an active performing career throughout Europe as recitalist, concert soloist and chamber musician. 

Tickets will be available at the door. The suggested donation is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $5 for students. For more information, call 914-337-3252. The Bronxville Women's Club is at 135 Midland Ave.
