Bronxville Women's Club Forced To Adjust Program

The Bronxville Women's Club changed their schedule program.

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Bronxville Women’s Club was forced to alter its Tuesday program after Al Kingon, the original speaker, suffered a heart attack.

Kingon’s appearance has been postponed to an undisclosed date. The program will now consist of Joyce Balint playing Celtic songs on the mandolin.

Following Balint’s show, Mary Westmoreland, the club president and retired Colonel, will give a talk about surviving as a woman in the military. She will also offer an update on the new policies of women in combat.

The public is invited to the program at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
