Bronxville Throws First Outdoor Yoga Party

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The inaugural Bronxville Yoga Block Party will be held on Wednesday, May 25, in Leonard Morange Square, along Parkway Road, in Bronxville.

All ages and levels of experience are welcome to this outdoor event. The class will be led by Stephanie Filardi and Peter Iocovello of Bronxville Wellness Sanctuary, with instructional support from Marissa Reda of Bronxville Fitness Club and Danielle Guillet of Lyte Body Fitness.

A free yoga mat will be provided to the first 100 participants to arrive, courtesy of New York-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital.

Live music will be provided by Concordia Conservatory. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids ages 12 and under. Twenty percent of the net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Bronxville PTA.

The event will be from 6 - 8 p.m. The rain date is Thursday, May 26.

It is sponsored by NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville Wellness Sanctuary, Lyte Body Fitness, Bronxville Acupuncture, Bronxville Fitness Club, BeFit,  A Trim and Healthy Life, SoulCycle, and Bronxville Auto Collision.

All participants must sign a release waiver prior to participating in the yoga event. Click here to download and print the waiver; bring the signed document to the registration table at check-in.
