Briskin is a Russian-born cellist who trained at the Leningrad Conservatory and was part of an award-winning string quartet at the Prague International Competition at age 14. While teaching cello at The Bronxville School, he continues to play chamber music worldwide.
Szabó is regarded as "one of the leading organists in the state," according to the Classical New Jersey Society Journal.
He remains very active, working as a conductor, organist, pianist, vocal coach, arranger and adjudicator throughout Europe, Canada and the United States. He is also the minister of music at the Reformed Church of Bronxville.
Briskin and Szabó's program includes both harpsichord and cello sonatas, along with selected solo works.
