Bronxville DAR Discusses George Washington's Military Life

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Anne Hutchinson-Bronxville Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, will honor President George Washington's upcoming birthday by hosting an educational program on his impressive military life at the Bronxville Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 6.

The guest lecturer will be William Wienecke, a retired history teacher of 36 years from the Somers Central School District. Wieneke is also a living history re-enactor and will portray General Washington - in full military regalia - as he describes the most dramatic and pivotal moments in Washington's military life. 

Admission is free and open to pubic. Reservations are not required, but space is limited.
