Author Amy Dickinson To Speak At Concordia On Thursday

BRONXVILLE N.Y. ‒ Best-selling author and newspaper columnist Amy Dickinson will discuss her memoir, "The Mighty Queens of Freeville: A Story of Surprising Second Chances," on Friday at Bronxville's Concordia College as part of its Books & Coffee series.

The memoir tells of Dickinson’s experiences as a single mother and member of an extended family in upstate New York. 

Dickinson is The Chicago Tribune’s signature advice columnist. Her "Ask Amy" advice column is carried in more than 150 newspapers and read by an estimated 22 million readers daily. 

Dickinson will speak at 7 p.m. in the college's Sommer Center for Worship and the Performing Arts. The event is free and no reservations are required.
