More Info Emerges About Westchester Sites Pitched For Possible GE Move

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – More information has emerged about the four possible Westchester County sites for General Electric if the Fortune 500 company decides to relocate its headquarters outside of Connecticut, reports lohud.

Local and state officials have pitched four possible sites: Somers (the Pepsi Co property, shown at left), White Plains, Yonkers and Armonk to General Electric.

Armonk, Somers, White Plains and Yonkers were first reported to be possible sites in August.

Phil Oliva, a spokesman for Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, said the specific sites pitched were the PepsiCo site in Somers, the Gateway Center at 1 North Lexington Avenue in downtown White Plains, former Alexander Smith and Sons carpet factory on Nepperhan Avenue in Yonkers and the MBIA headquarters on King Street in Armonk, according to the report.
