The Hartsdale eatery features authentic regional Chinese cooking with Shanghainese, Sichuan, and Cantonese entrees amidst an elegant space that brings in the culture and ambiance of the Far East.

Expect entrees such as Beijing’s original Peking duck, Mandarin-style dim sum, soup dumplings and flour pancakes, along with street food inspired dishes such as Sichuan wontons and dan dan noodles.

Behind all the fuss: Chef Eric Gao, a protege of the legendary Chinese MasterChef and James Beard award nominee Peter Chang. The restaurant is co-owned by Gen Lee, a longtime Chang collaborator, and Peter Liu.

O Mandarin opened April 7 and is located at 361 N. Central Ave., 914-437-9168, www.omandarin.com/.
