Italian Restaurant To Open At Jefferson Valley Mall

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A national Italian restaurant chain is scheduled to open its first eatery in Westchester County at the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown during the holiday season.

Buca di Beppo, which currently operations 86 locations in the United States, will occupy the long-empty 6,564-square-foot space off the mall's main entrance that, in the past, was home to several other restaurants.

"Welcoming this new restaurant concept is a major boost to our dining options at Jefferson Valley Mall and will give our consumers a wonderful local establishment to enjoy delicious dishes with family and friends," said Ken Hamilton, mall general manager. "We are pleased to bring Buca di Beppo into the retail mix at Jefferson Valley Mall and look forward to its opening later this year."

Buca di Beppo will feature Northern and Southern Italian cuisine, including salads, pastas, pizzas, entrees and desserts. Beer and fine wine will also be available.

The restaurant walls will be adorned with family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. There also will be classic music from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and others playing in the dining room.

Buca di Beppo will have the distinction of being the only restaurant at the mall. The current food court had been whittled down in recent months to only a handful of choices.
