Chipotle Mexican Grill is opening a new restaurant in Westchester at 798 Pelham Parkway in Pelham Manor on Thursday, Oct. 12. The first 25 customers will score a free Chipotle t-shirt and a buy one get one free coupon to use on a return visit.
This will be Chipotle's fourth location in Westchester with other locations in White Plains, Rye Brook, and Yonkers. Rachel Williams, Chipotle Marketing Strategist, said Pelham Manor was a great fit for a new location.
"The location is near many commuter roads heading into New York City," Williams said. "It allows us to feed plenty of hungry commuters and their families as they're heading home from work and school."
The restaurant opens right when Chipotle is debuting its new queso, which is made from aged cheddar cheese, tomatillos, tomatoes and several varieties of peppers to create a complex and slightly spicy flavor.
Customers can order queso on their entrée or on the side with chips.
Chipotle will be hosting a fundraiser on Oct. 24 at the Pelham Manor location to benefit the American Cancer Society.
