Festivities begin on Friday morning, where shoppers will see a series of sales from local business owners, who will be selling their wares right on the sidewalk. Businesses will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with the Fall Sidewalk Sale continuing on Saturday.

This year is set to be one of Bronxville’s biggest yet, with more than 50 businesses expected to participate. There will be free parking available beginning at noon on Saturday in the Garden and Kraft Avenue lots and in the Avalon lot all day. Meters will be in effect elsewhere.

According to the Chamber of Commerce, this year’s sale is expected to include clothing boutiques, home-furnishing stores, salons, banks, bakeries, spas, fitness studios and more, with discounts as high as 70 percent off the regular price. The recently opened harry A Rothmans Project will make its debut in Bronxville with a variety of men’s and boy’s clothing options.

It looks like Mother Nature will cooperate with the Chamber this year, with the National Weather Service predicting sunny skies and moderate temperatures planned through Monday afternoon. The Chamber has arranged weather-related updates on its Facebook page, though the event will be held rain or shine.
