BRONXVILLE N.Y. - Screaming paparazzi, flashing lights, pink drapes and over-sized jewels. No, it's not the scene of a Manhattan catwalk, rather one from a Bronxville boutique.

The Bronxville shop Weezie D. Ladies Boutiques will host its fourth annual holiday fashion show, titled “Fashion has heart,” featuring actual clients on Friday. The show is, in part, to benefit The United Hispanic Construction Workers to help its work with women faced with unfortunate challenges.

"Glitz, glam and sequence galore" is the premise for the fashion show, which will include Weezie D.’s holiday collection while embracing the trends of the season.

Weezie D. decided to have a fashion show in Bronxville to give its local clients a taste of the city limelight, said Louisa McTurner, owner of Weezie D. Ladies Boutiques.

"We wanted to bring something special to all of our clients in Bronxville and throughout Westchester," said McTurner. "We reached out to our clients and had them come in on a casting call for a photo-shoot to try out for fun. We wanted to do something for our clients, so this event is really all about giving back to them."

The event will include door raffles, giveaways and goodie bags to the first 50 guests. Everything in the store will be 25 percent off immediately following the show.

Friday's show will feature 12 models and is expected to attract a crowd of around 80 people, said McTurner.

"Our show last year attracted people from all around Westchester, and even some from New York City," said McTurner. "We would love to make our show bigger and better every year for our clients and for a good cause. In doing the show these women can have a night where they can forget about their daily lives and pretend to be runway models. It's going to be an amazing experience."

Red Carpet begins at 7:30 p.m. followed by cocktail hour. The fashion show will begin at 8:30 p.m.
